Educational math arcade
Playable prototype
Roro's Math Chase
Help Roro collect the right numbered coins while a monster closes in. Pick a math topic, guide Roro around the board, and try to beat your best score.
Math practice that feels like an arcade game
Every board presents three correct numbered coins to collect. In arithmetic or algebra, solve the three listed problems in any order; in Multiples, collect three numbers matching the rule. Avoid wrong answers and the monster. Finish all three to earn a level-clear bonus and move on.
Try addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, multiples, or basic one-variable algebra. Algebra starts with easy one-step equations, then introduces subtraction, multiplication, and finally two-step equations over later levels. Everything runs in your browser without an account.
Choose your own pace
Monster speed is separate from math topic, so you can practice algebra at a relaxed pace or race through addition on Challenge. Play with arrow keys or WASD, or use the large directional controls on a phone.
Roro's Math Chase is an early playable prototype. More educational subjects, enemy behaviors, and animations may be added over time.
Getting started
How to play Roro's Math Chase
Choose a math topic
Select addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, multiples, or basic algebra. Choose Relaxed, Normal, or Challenge monster speed.
Read the challenge
Solve all three problems shown above the board and collect their answers, or gather three matching numbers in Multiples. Solved problems are checked off.
Move Roro
Use on-screen arrows, keyboard arrows, WASD, or tap a neighboring tile. Changing game settings returns keyboard focus to the board.
Clear levels
Each correct coin gives 100 points, wrong coins lose 25, and touching the monster costs a heart. Clearing all three answers grants a 100-point bonus and briefly celebrates the level.
