Trace your way through hidden words in four cozy letter puzzles, from Roro’s dog park to ocean creatures and the old wagon trail. No accounts, downloads, or full dictionary required.
A little word hunt
Each themed 9-by-9 board hides six everyday words. Drag in a straight line across letters or tap the starting and ending letters to claim a word. Words can run horizontally, vertically, diagonally or backwards.
Find all six words to complete a pack. The explanations shown after each word add a tiny bit of learning without interrupting the game.
Four small, original learning packs
Start with Dog Park, Space Camp, Ocean Friends, or Trail Trek. Every puzzle is built from a reviewed list of target words and short descriptions stored locally with the game.
Word Wag needs no dictionary download, network lookup or third-party word API. Completed packs are remembered in your browser if storage is available.
Getting started
How to play Word Wag
Pick a theme
Choose one of the four packs from the selection menu.
Trace a straight line
Drag over adjacent letter tiles or tap the first and last tile of a word. Horizontal, vertical, diagonal and reverse directions all work.
Read the clue
Every found word gets checked off and reveals a short description.
Finish the pack
Find all six words for Roro’s celebration, then try another theme.
