Roro's Spanish Verb Chase

Read an English clue such as 'I ate (pretérito)' and guide Roro to the Spanish form 'comí' while avoiding the monster. Every board uses one verb and a new set of conjugations to practice.

Practice Spanish grammar in an arcade game

Each board shows an infinitive and its English meaning, then up to three English-language clues with Spanish grammatical labels. Collect the corresponding conjugations. Every numbered or word tile represents a form of the same verb, so you must distinguish subject, tense, spelling, and accent marks.

Start with mixed practice or focus on presente, pretérito, imperfecto, futuro, or condicional. You can also choose a Spanish grammatical person (yo, tú, él, nosotros, vosotros, ellos). When both a tense and a person are selected, there is one answer per board.

Curated verb data, no account needed

The first version contains 351 Spanish infinitives with English clues generated ahead of time and stored in a static UTF-8 dictionary. Irregular verbs, accented letters, and ñ are preserved. This learning game does not contact a live translation service.

English and Spanish past tenses do not always correspond word for word. For that reason, each clue includes its Spanish tense label; the English phrasing is a learning guide rather than a universal translation.
