A quick arcade mission

Star Squadron is a pick-up-and-play space shooter with three enemy ship types, looping dive attacks, and a fresh wave after every cleared formation. Destroy ships in formation or score a bonus for hitting them during a dive.

The action runs entirely in your browser with original vector artwork, no account, and no downloads. Three lives are all you get, so keep your ship moving!

Made for touch and keyboard

Drag your ship around the bottom of the playfield, or hold the large Left and Right buttons. Firing is automatic, so you can focus on dodging attacks and finding clear shots.

On a keyboard, use the left and right arrows or A and D. Press P to pause. Your personal best score is saved locally when browser storage is available.

How to play Star Squadron

Start your mission
Press Start mission to launch your interceptor with three lives.
Move and dodge
Drag horizontally, use the on-screen arrows, or press the left and right keys. Avoid enemy ships and their lasers.
Clear the formation
Your blaster fires automatically. Shoot every ship to unlock the next, tougher wave.
